Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon Marauders vs. New Palestine Dragons
After flying high against Perry Meridian on Monday, Mt. Vernon came back down to earth. The Marauders fell just short of the New Palestine Dragons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Mt. Vernon started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-17, 15-13.
