Medina has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Jackson has won five straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Battling Bees will welcome the Polar Bears at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in Medina's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
On Tuesday, Medina made easy work of St. Joseph Academy and carried off a 12-2 win. Considering the Battling Bees have won five matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Bella Case made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Case was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

04/14/25 vs Euclid | 1 |

In other batting news, Medina got a massive performance out of Addie Connelly, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Connelly a new career-high. Ryann Allar was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Medina always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Joseph Academy only posted an OBP of .250.
The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Jackson and Louisville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Polar Bears fell 6-2 to the Leopards on Thursday. The game marked the Polar Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Morgan Christopher made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Medina now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Jackson, they moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Medina hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .370. However, it's not like Jackson struggles in that department as they've averaged .336. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Medina skirted past Jackson 3-2 in their previous meeting back in March of 2019. Will the Battling Bees repeat their success, or do the Polar Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
