Selah is 9-1 against Grandview since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Vikings will square off against the Greyhounds at 11:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Selah has 11 straight wins, Grandview has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Selah barely beat Lynden the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Lions 10-1 on Thursday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Grandview had taken Prosser down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Greyhounds fell 6-2 to the Mustangs.

Grandview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jojo Mora, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Andre Lopez, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Selah, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Everything went Selah's way against Grandview when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Selah made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
