Volleyball Recap: Middlesboro Takes a Loss

After flying high against Red Bird last Friday, Middlesboro came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets lost 3-0 to the Harlan County Black Bears on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Black Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

Middlesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13-1. As for Harlan County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Middlesboro will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oneida Baptist Institute at 6:00 p.m. As for Harlan County, they will head out to challenge South Laurel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
