Baseball Recap: La Jolla Country Day Takes a Loss

La Jolla Country Day was the 8-2 winner over Coronado when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The La Jolla Country Day Torreys wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

La Jolla Country Day saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Rock, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Santino Grasso also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

La Jolla Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Coronado, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, La Jolla Country Day is taking a road trip to challenge Mission Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coronado, they will welcome Eastlake at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
