Basketball Recap: Bethany Christian Falls to Westview in First Game of Season

Bethany Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Westview Warriors and fell 70-23. The Bruins lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 76-55 score last time.

Despite the loss, Bethany Christian still got an impressive performance from Trey Caffee, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Bethany Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-43 defeat against West Noble on the 2nd. As for Westview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-56 loss against Northridge on the 29th.
