Volleyball Recap: North Andover Scarlet Knights vs. Methuen Rangers
North Andover lost against Methuen back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Scarlet Knights fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 3-2. While the Scarlet Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rangers 25-19 in the first set.

Laila Yacouba-Issa paced North Andover's offense, picking up 17 kills. Yacouba-Issa got some help from Brynn Patenaude and her 34 assists. Yacouba-Issa also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sophia Steely, each putting up six.
Kathryn Driend was her usual excellent self, getting nine digs, seven aces, five kills, and three blocks for Methuen. Driend is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season. Ella Duffy was another key player, getting 19 digs and five aces.
North Andover has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
