KIPP DC Legacy College Prep was the 2-1 winner over Washington Latin Public Charter School when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Friday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-7.

KIPP DC Legacy College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Coincidentally, KIPP DC Legacy College Prep and Washington Latin Public Charter School will both be playing Thurgood Marshall Academy the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
