Basketball Recap: Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Takes a Loss

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association lost against Westminster Catawba Christian back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stallions fell 28-24 to the Indians.

Sarah Rodriguez was Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association's leading scorer, having posted seven points.

Westminster Catawba Christian found their leader in freshman Grace Dixon, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association will square off against Langtree Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, they will challenge Spartanburg Day at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
