Ironwood has gone 8-2 against Sunrise Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Ironwood Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Ironwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Sunrise Mountain likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Ironwood against Centennial as the team secured a 73-44 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Coyotes are ranked 80th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Sunrise Mountain ended up a good deal behind Willow Canyon on Tuesday and lost 70-54. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Ironwood's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. As for Sunrise Mountain, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-11.
