The Briarcrest Christian Saints lost against the Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks back in January of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Briarcrest Christian fell to Hamilton Heights Christian Academy 57-53.
Hamilton Heights Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elivia Moore, who scored 23 points. Tanah Becker was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 assists.
Briarcrest Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Briarcrest Christian will face off against Lipscomb Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hamilton Heights Christian Academy is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Christian Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Christian Heritage is ranked 157th in Georgia, while Hamilton Heights Christian Academy is ranked 160th in Tennessee).
