Volleyball Recap: Linton-Stockton Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Linton-Stockton hadn't done well against Loogootee recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Miners were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. For the Miners, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

While Linton-Stockton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-22.

Ella Warrick paced Linton-Stockton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Warrick got some help from Audrey Sullivan and her 31 assists. Warrick was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.
