It was a proper cat-fight when Walnut took on Ripley on Friday. The Wildcats blew past the Tigers, posting a 59-30 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Kaylee Estes, who posted 11 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenley Kirk, who had eight points.

Walnut now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ripley, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walnut will take on Columbus at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ripley, they will challenge Corinth at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
