Recap: Seneca Bobcats vs. Belton-Honea Path Bears
The Seneca Bobcats entered their tilt with the Belton-Honea Path Bears with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Seneca managed a 58-53 victory over Belton-Honea Path on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Seneca also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.
Jalen Craig continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Craig has scored at least 25% of Seneca's points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Clayton, who scored nine points.
Seneca's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Belton-Honea Path, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seneca will take on Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Palmetto is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will be playing at home against West-Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully West-Oak focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
