Volleyball Game Preview: Benbrook Bobcats vs. Krum Bobcats

Benbrook hasn't had much luck against Krum recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. Benbrook is coming into the match hot, having won their last 13 games.

While Benbrook's win against Dunbar wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats skirted past the Wildcats 3-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 5, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Benbrook took Dunbar into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-10, 25-27, 25-10, 18-16.

Meanwhile, Krum made easy work of Burkburnett on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Krum walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-21.

Benbrook's record now sits at 25-11. As for Krum, their record is now 22-16-1.

Benbrook suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Krum in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can Benbrook avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
