Basketball Recap: Presque Isle Takes a Loss

After flying high against Greater Houlton Christian Academy last Tuesday, Presque Isle came back down to earth. The Presque Isle Wildcats took a 45-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Old Town Coyotes on Saturday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-40 back in December of 2024.

Presque Isle's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Old Town, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Presque Isle will face off against Washington Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Washington Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Presque Isle surely won't give up without a fight. As for Old Town, they will take on John Bapst Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
