Baseball Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss

The Lakeland Vikings didn't have quite enough to beat the West Plains Zizzers on Saturday and fell 4-3.

Lakeland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for West Plains, their victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeland will square off against Midway at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Plains, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
