Clear Fork and Shelby are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Colts will take on the Whippets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Clear Fork turned things around against Galion on Wednesday. They never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Colts needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Shelby made easy work of Crestview on Saturday and carried off an 8-1 win. The Whippets haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Clear Fork's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Shelby, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

Clear Fork got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against Shelby by a conclusive 8-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
