It's playoff time, and Moorhead had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Woodbury Royals 64-48 on Friday. The Spuds' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Moorhead's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Woodbury, they moved to 7-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Moorhead will face off against Centennial on Thursday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed 11.7 points per game this season, so the Spuds' offense will have their work cut out for them. Woodbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
