Softball Recap: Pleasant Grove Takes a Loss

Pleasant Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Hale County Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-0 loss on Saturday.

Pleasant Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaleigh White, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Pleasant Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Hale County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Coming up, Pleasant Grove will look to defend their home field on Monday against Oak Grove at 5:00 p.m. As for Hale County, they will head out to take on Greensboro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
