Lake Norman Charter had won five straight games and Danielle Lewis did her part to make it six on Saturday. The Knights came out on top against the North Iredell Raiders by a score of 3-1 for which the team can thank Lewis, who had 13 digs and six assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Lake Norman Charter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-10, 25-12, 25-15.

Lake Norman Charter's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for North Iredell, their loss ended a 23-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Lake Norman Charter will head out on the road to take on Corvian Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Iredell, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Davie County at 6:00 p.m. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
