After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stuart W. Cramer, Lincolnton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the West Lincoln Rebels 42-6. Considering the Wolves have won five games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Rashad Lynch, who rushed for 173 yards and one score on only 12 carries, and also threw for 221 yards and four TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. Those 173 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Lynch was just one part of a punishing run game: Lincolnton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 252 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive contests.

Lincolnton's record now sits at 8-2. As for West Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
