Basketball Game Preview: Lynn English Bulldogs vs. Everett Crimson Tide

The Lynn English Bulldogs will challenge the Everett Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lynn English knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Everett likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Lynn English didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Chelsea, but they still walked away with a 67-61 victory.

Meanwhile, Everett unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Sunday. They fell 63-54 to St. Mary's. While losing is never fun, the Crimson Tide can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Spartans are ranked 25th).

Lynn English pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Everett, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Lynn English strolled past Everett in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 69-52. Will Lynn English repeat their success, or does Everett have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
