Rockhurst lost to Lee's Summit back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Hawklets managed a 55-49 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawklets.

Rockhurst got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cohen Robinson out in front who posted 12 points and five rebounds. Kevin Sullivan was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Rockhurst's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Rockhurst and Lee's Summit will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Hawklets see the court they'll take on Lee's Summit North at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Lee's Summit, their break will end when they face Blue Valley North at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
