St. Charles North and Brother Rice squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but St. Charles North had to settle for second. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 42-18. The North Stars' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jaylin Green and Jameson Davis. Green gained 149 total yards and two touchdowns while Davis rushed for 106 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. What's more, Davis posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September.

St. Charles North's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Brother Rice, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

As of now, neither St. Charles North nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
