The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Susquehanna Valley in their matchups with Chenango Forks: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Seton Catholic Central took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against Dryden by a score of 53-43.
Seton Catholic Central can attribute much of their success to Drew Erickson, who scored 22 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Allan Eagles was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Susquehanna Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Seton Catholic Central, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Susquehanna Valley was taken down by Seton Catholic Central 73-40 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Susquehanna Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
