Warden hadn't done well against DeSales recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Fighting Irish with a sharp 14-2 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got Warden back to even at 6-6. As for DeSales, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Warden will host Tri-Cities Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DeSales, they will challenge Touchet at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
