Basketball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

If Northwestern was riding high fresh off their 74-47 takedown of Rittman last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The match between the Northwestern Huskies and the Hillsdale Falcons didn't end well, with the Northwestern Huskies falling 69-52. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 764th, while the Falcons are ranked 292nd).

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Hillsdale, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Northwestern will host Norwayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norwayne will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Northwestern surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hillsdale, they will venture away from home to square off against Chippewa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
