Baseball Game Preview: Wisdom Generals vs. Heights Bulldogs

The Wisdom Generals will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Heights Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Wisdom is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 18-1 to Heights.

For Heights' part, Adam Torres looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). That's the fewest hits Torres has allowed since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Ryan Soto was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Jose Garcia was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Heights always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wisdom only posted an OBP of .400.
