Football Game Preview: Overbrook Rams vs. Camden Catholic Fighting Irish

The Overbrook Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Camden Catholic Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Camden Catholic took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Overbrook, who comes in off a win.

Overbrook's offense will try to repeat the strong performance it gave on Friday, when they got past Clayton's usually-dominant defense. The Rams were the clear victors by a 38-14 margin over the Clippers.

Meanwhile, Camden Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 35-6 loss at the hands of Haddon Heights.

Overbrook is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.0 points over those games. As for Camden Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Overbrook was taken down by Camden Catholic 41-6 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
