Volleyball Recap: Ravenna Victorious

After losing to Fullerton the last time they met, Ravenna decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bluejays walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bluejays.

Ravenna found their leader in freshman Ava Wroblewski, who had nine digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Wroblewski.

Ravenna was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Ravenna's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Fullerton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ravenna will challenge Centura on the 21st. As for Fullerton, they will head out to take on Boone Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
