The Westminster Christian Warriors will challenge the American Heritage Patriots at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Westminster Christian 3.5, American Heritage 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Westminster Christian is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since May 11, 2024 on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Belen Jesuit 2-1. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Austin Wiegandt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Westminster Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriel Mejia, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Meanwhile, American Heritage waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cougars 11-1. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by seven runs or more this season.
Caden Garro looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Jordan Rich was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in home runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Dubovik, who scored two runs and stole Two bases.
American Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Killian only posted an OBP of .111.
American Heritage's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Westminster Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Westminster Christian hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like American Heritage struggles in that department as they've been averaging 1.1 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Westminster Christian skirted past American Heritage 2-1 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Does Westminster Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will American Heritage turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
