Los Lunas is 9-1 against Capital since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will take on the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Capital took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Los Lunas, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Los Lunas turned things around against Kirtland Central on Friday. They took down the Broncos 49-31.

Meanwhile, Capital unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Taos on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Los Lunas' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Los Lunas was able to grind out a solid victory over Capital in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 52-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
