Soccer Recap: South Stokes Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Stokes's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the North Surry Greyhounds by a score of 2-1. South Stokes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced North Surry earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

South Stokes' goal came courtesy of Jamier Davis, who's now up to three this season.

South Stokes' loss dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for North Surry, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Looking ahead, South Stokes will take on Cornerstone Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Stokes will be up against Cornerstone Charter's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.5 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Surry, they will face off against West Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Surry's defense better be ready for this one: West Davidson have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season.
