While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Monarchs are ranked 107th).

Days Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
