Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart came out on top against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on Friday thanks in part to Elizabeth Ovitt's efforts. Ovitt scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Ovitt's strong effort led Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs are a perfect 5-0 against the Thunderbirds going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
