St. Pius X Catholic has gone a perfect 4-0 against Lithonia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Golden Lions will head out to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for St. Pius X Catholic after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 28-21 to Marist. While losing is never fun, the Golden Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the War Eagles are ranked 47th).

St. Pius X Catholic might have lost, but man, Aiden Francois was a machine: he rushed for 100 yards and one score on only five carries.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lithonia). They claimed a resounding 49-3 victory over North Springs. Considering the Bulldogs have won five games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lithonia's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for St. Pius X Catholic, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for St. Pius X Catholic against Lithonia in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
