Volleyball Recap: Osage City Comes Up Short

Osage City and Hoisington squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Osage City had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jayla Jenkins paced Osage City's offense, picking up seven kills. Jenkins got some help from Addison Watson and her seven assists.

Osage City's defeat dropped their record down to 27-14. As for Hoisington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 27 of their last 29 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-5 record this season.

Osage City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Holton on the 30th. As for Hoisington, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Riverton on the 30th.
