Recap: Hoover Huskies vs. Sissonville Indians

This season hasn't been kind to the Hoover Huskies, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They took a serious blow against Sissonville on Tuesday, falling 61-25. Hoover has struggled against Sissonville recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Hoover lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bella Haas, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Natilee Hill, who scored seven points.

Leading Sissonville to victory were Kynadee Britton and Makaela Ullman. Britton scored 18 points along with six steals, while Ullman scored 22 points along with five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Britton has scored at least 25% of Sissonville's points. Makinley Britton was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sissonville, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoover will take on Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sissonville, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Nicholas County at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Nicholas County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
