Soccer Game Preview: Amador vs. Argonaut

The Amador Buffaloes will head out to square off against the Argonaut Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Argonaut will have to contend with a Amador team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen since November 22. Amador fell just short of El Dorado by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Despite a strong season so far, Argonaut has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rosemont on Wednesday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Mustangs couldn't quite close it out.

Argonaut's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-2. As for Amador, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-2.

Amador came up short against Argonaut when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Amador avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
