Baseball Recap: St. Charles Takes a Loss

St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the McDonough Rams, falling 21-6. If St. Charles was looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to McDonough when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Charles saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Doreon Vauss, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. McDonough has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

St. Charles didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-8 defeat against Lackey on the 26th. As for McDonough, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-2 victory against Westlake on the 26th.
