Baseball Recap: Mansfield Senior Comes Up Short

Mansfield Senior lost against Wooster back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tygers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals. The Tygers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mansfield Senior saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Guy Trader, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Mansfield Senior's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Wooster, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wooster beat Mansfield Senior by a score of 15-1 on Wednesday.
