Airport is a perfect 3-0 against Wagener-Salley since September of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will welcome the War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Airport has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 23.

Airport came up short against Gilbert on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Wagener-Salley got the win against Ridge Spring-Monetta on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The War Eagles haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Wagener-Salley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-13.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Wagener-Salley, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Airport was able to grind out a solid win over Wagener-Salley in their previous meeting back in August, winning 3-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the War Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
