Basketball Recap: Levi Kuehl's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Woodcrest Christian over Ramona

Woodcrest Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 65-51 to the Ramona Rams. The Royals lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-34 score last time.

Woodcrest Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Levi Kuehl, who posted seven points along with six steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Cleveland Stoudenmire, who put up nine points.

Woodcrest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ramona, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Woodcrest Christian has already played their next matchup (against Sherman Indian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ramona, they will take on Duarte in a tournament on Wednesday.
