Volleyball Recap: Trinity Falls Short of Central Cass in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinity can now relate to. They came up short against the Central Cass Squirrels on Thursday, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Titans couldn't score was back in October, the team can't take the result too hard.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8-1. As for Central Cass, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Des Lacs-Burlington on the 21st. As for Central Cass, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg at 1:00 p.m.
