Preview: Palmer Tigers vs. Fullerton Warriors

Palmer is 0-10 against Fullerton since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Palmer Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fullerton Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Palmer is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Palmer was beaten by High Plains 72-44. Palmer was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-21.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Fullerton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a serious blow against Central City, falling 68-40. Fullerton has struggled against Central City recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Fullerton saw an underclassman step up: Kane Wetovick scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrick Gonsior, who scored nine points.

Fullerton struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Palmer has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Fullerton, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-11.
