Basketball Recap: Bell Gardens Comes Up Short

Bell Gardens won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They were beaten by the Mark Keppel Aztecs 79-43. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Aztecs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Bell Gardens' loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Mark Keppel, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bell Gardens will square off against Schurr at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mark Keppel has already played their next matchup (against Alhambra), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
