Basketball Recap: Lakeland Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against North Fort Myers

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeland Christian). They came out on top against the North Fort Myers Red Knights by a score of 68-56 on Saturday.

Joseph Donohue had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 58% from the field en route to 28 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Cruz, who posted six points.

Lakeland Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory got Lakeland Christian back to even at 2-2. As for North Fort Myers, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.
