Softball Recap: Jeffersonville Takes a Loss

Jeffersonville kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Oldham Mustangs.

Kenzie Myers was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Young, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

The win got North Oldham back to even at 4-4.

Jeffersonville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-3 defeat against Borden on the 1st. As for North Oldham, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 loss against Franklin County on the 26th.
