Turlock was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Modesto on Friday. The Bulldogs blew past the Panthers 41-0. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Panthers are ranked 750th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Turlock is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.2 points over those games. As for Modesto, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Turlock will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.44 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Modesto does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
